Emerging and Preserving:
providing astronomical information in the digital age

The fourth meeting Library and Information Services in Astronomy will take a place in Prague from July 2 to 5, 2002 in the conference's Blue Hall at Carolinum - the historical buildings of the Charles University in city centre of Prague. This meeting will be hosted by the Astronomical Institute Charles University Prague and by the Astronomical Institute of the Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic.

LISA IV will provide an opportunity to examine the current state of the art of information maintenance, delivery and preservation. This conference is open to librarians, astronomers, publishers and computer specialist representing astronomical institutes, observatories and affiliated organizations worldwide.
